Frequently Asked Questions

1) After I make a payment for the album or single, how do I listen on my device?

Upon purchase, you will receive a download link. Click here to read the download instructions based upon  music selected and your device.

2)  After I placed the order, why does it say that I only have 72 hours to download the link.?

 

This is anti-piracy standard to prevent any unauthorized sharing of the download link to multiple users. However, once you download the file within the 72-hour timeframe, the digital music file(s) are yours to keep permanently. Also, please ensure that your storage device is not full prior to downloading.

3) What is your refund policy?

Due to the nature of digital content, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges once a download is completed. All digital music purchases made through davidjdixon.com are final and non‑refundable. 

4)  Can I purchase a CD version of your album?

Currently, the album or singles can only be purchased on this site using the download link.

 

5) Can I add the downloaded music files to my Apple music playlist?

The short answer is yes, however there are a few steps involved before the digital song files can be added to your library or playlist of your iTunes or Apple Music app:

🍏 How to Add Your Music to iTunes or Apple Music

If you listen to music on Apple devices, follow these steps to add your downloaded songs directly to your library!

⚠️ Important Note: You must use a computer (Mac or Windows PC) to add your own downloaded MP3 files to your Apple Music library for the first time. You cannot add them directly from an iPhone web browser. 

 

 

💻 On a Mac Computer

  1. Download and open your regular music folder.

  2. Open the Apple Music app on your Mac.

  3. Click File in the very top menu bar.

  4. Click Import (or Add to Library).

  5. Select the downloaded songs or folder and click Open.

  6. The songs will now appear in your Recently Added section! 

 

 

🪟 On a Windows PC

  1. Download and extract your music folder.

  2. Open the iTunes or Apple Music app on your PC.

  3. Click File in the top left corner of the app.

  4. Click Add Folder to Library (for full albums) or Add File to Library (for singles).

  5. Find your Downloads folder, select the music files, and click Open.

  6. Your new music will appear instantly in your library! 

 

 

📱 How to Get It Onto Your iPhone or iPad

Once the music is on your computer's iTunes or Apple Music app, you can easily send it to your phone: 

  • If you have an Apple Music Subscription: Your computer will automatically sync the tracks to iCloud. They will appear on your phone's Apple Music app within a few minutes! 

  • If you do NOT have a subscription: Plug your iPhone into your computer using a USB cable. Open iTunes/Finder, click on your phone icon, check Sync Music, and click Apply to transfer the songs safely!
