About.

David is a jazz musician whose artistry flows through the keys of the piano and the rhythm of the bongos. His sound is rooted in tradition yet alive with personal expression, blending soulful improvisation with intricate arrangements. With a deep love for jazz and decades of experience, David’s music invites listeners into a rich, resonant world shaped by rhythm, harmony, and heart.

One of David’s most unforgettable moments came in 1966, when he performed at the iconic Hollywood Bowl as part of the Battle of the Bands with the group, The Gentlemen —competing against none other than The Carpenters. Playing bongos in that electrifying competition was a defining experience, marking him as a bold and passionate performer with a flair for live energy and collaboration. Incidentally, The Gentlemen won second place for their performance.  That night wasn’t just a performance—it was a milestone in a lifelong journey of musical exploration.

Since then, David has spent years composing, arranging, and performing songs that speak to the soul. His upcoming album promises to be a celebration of everything he’s learned and loved along the way—a collection of original pieces that reflect his unique voice and enduring devotion to jazz. Whether you’re a longtime fan or just discovering his sound, David’s music is an invitation to feel, groove, and connect.
